Silk

Silk has always been closely tied with the great families of Florence. One company in particular stands above all others; ProFabrica assigns all bespoke silk work to one mill in Florence to produce a silk so fine and of such high quality that it can be found today in Royal palaces Denmark and Monaco.

Using looms from the 18th and 19th century the silk is spun into the finest silk fabrics of the most vibrant and most subtle colours and textures. The last heir of the "Art of Textile" of the Florentine Renaissance, which enters into the new millennium producing the most precious silks designs and produces the finest silk fabrics and accessories for ProFabrica.
